Senior Vice President - Pet

Rimfrost is seeking a growth-minded Senior Vice President - Pet to drive commercial activities in this sector.  This can be a remote position. The right candidate has several years of experience in international ingredient sales in the pet food and/or feed sectors and can generate growth through co-creation and relationship-based sales. 

Main tasks and responsibility:
 

• Be a professional expert in Rimfrost within the pet food and feed area
• Take an active part in project and business development within pet food
• Further develop the pet food market strategy
• Take an active part in the company's strategic, administrative and operational plans
• Preparation and adherence to sales/ customer plans, budgets, fairs etc.
• Segmentation of customers and countries for focused sales efforts
• Generate ideas for creating value-added products, solutions and business models 
• Contribute to the company's pet food marketing initiatives
• Develop and maintain new key account customers
• Follow-up of license agreements of the Rimfrost brand 
• Coordination and collaboration with the quality control department to ensure the desired quality of production and products
• Coordination and collaboration with logistics department to ensure delivery pricing, including affiliates

The right candidate holds a completed relevant master's degree and several years of experience within the pet food industry.  You have in-depth knowledge about protein and are able to communicate your knowledge effectively. We are particularly interested in applicants with an already established network that you broaden continuously.  For this role, it is important that you like to be in charge, lead and direct others, and keep the team focused on objectives. You enjoy selling and negotiating and come across as very confident and self-assured even in unfamiliar situations and groups. You feel at ease during presentations and formal events. As a person, you are talkative, lively and sociable.
